Because I’m being such a lazy girl and I’ve done nothing but stay at home for almost a week now, I decided that I had to leave the confines of this unit, even if it was just to lounge at the ‘ground floor’ where chairs and tables are situated for lounging purposes. =))
Anyway, I took a shower, intent on leaving the unit for at least a few minutes as soon as I finish some chores. Mom suddenly called, asking us if we wanted to go to Simei. Seeing this as an opportunity to leave, I said yes. Of course, my brother said yes as well. As if he’d like staying at home.

Diba nag-bike kami kahapon?

Saturday, an official day for going out with the family and/or meeting up with relatives. Plan for the day: go to Pasir Ris Park so that we can ride bikes. Small problem though…
I don’t know how to ride a bike.
I’m being honest here, and it’s really really embarrassing because my brother learned how to ride one within a few hours of borrowing our cousins. I never got to removing my training wheels when I had a bike when I was in elementary. TT^TT I think I’m the only one in our family who doesn’t know how to bike. I’m so pathetic.

Umuulan dito ngayon, as in sobrang lakas ng buhos niya.

His pain is my pleasure. >:) Ang demonyo ko.
Ginusto mo ‘yan eh. Hmp.
I desperately needed to go outside, seriously. I’ve been staying at home for four days with nothing physically demanding to do. All I ever did was watch some TV and play with random games on my iTouch (mom shouldn’t have bought it. I ignored my laptop for two days ‘cause of it.) and my eyes aren’t exactly happy.
Anyway, since summer vacation is basically having the freedom to sleep as late as we please, my brother and I decided to do just that. So we stayed up ‘til around 3am? Then woke up past noon. And so our mom’s plan of going to Sentosa with our relatives went down the drain. Just. Like. That.
However, it has been a rule that we are to go out at least during weekends and holidays (the first time we came to SG, it only lasted about two weeks and we had to go out almost every single day) so we went to Orchard instead, one of my favorite places here. Why? Because that’s where Kinokuniya is.
What is Kinokuniya, you ask? hoho.

THIS. This, my friends, is KINOKUNIYA. Every book lover’s dream come true.
(photos aren’t mine, sarreh. I just googled them. ^_^V)
